Man: Okay. ‘Bye.
Anna: One more time. 555-8986. Please be Marsha.
Marsha: Hello. This is Marsha.
Anna: Yes, Marsha. I want to cook dinner.

Anna: Oh, yes. I am here!
Marsha: Good. You are there.
Anna: I want to find a supermarket.
Marsha: Oh, okay. The supermarket is at 1500 Irving Street. It is near the apartment.

I’m Shazia from Pakistan. Nice lesson…. But my question is that, in part 3, in this sentence ” Is this Marsha? It is Anna.” In first part of sentence you used ‘this’ but in second part u used ‘it’. What is difference between them? How can we understand that in one sentence r phrase we can use ‘it’ or in another we can use ‘this’. What would u say Teacher?
