Do you travel a lot? Do you sometimes stay at a hotel overnight or for a longer stay? Today’s conversation topic is “At the Hotel”. Imagine you’re in the United States of America and you’re staying at a hotel. What would you say? What would others say? Here are a few suggestions:
— You’re in a hotel lobby, talking with the receptionist about a hotel room you’ve reserved. What would you tell the receptionist? What would the receptionist tell you?
— You’re not happy with the room that you were given and wish to change it. You ask to speak with the hotel manager. What would you tell the hotel manager? What would the hotel manager tell you?
— You’re at the hotel and want to know where the hotel restaurant is? You ask the concierge for directions. What would the concierge say?
Traveling and staying at hotels is something you need to plan for if you wish to travel outside of your country.
